I have used all kinds of poles and some are way better than others.  I have gotten better at &#39;mono&#39;ing due to the fact that it is not uncommon to ski
with <u>A</u> pole for the day, after breaking one.

Poles fall into four main categories:  Extension, Aluminium, Composite, and Carbon.

up laps and playing with my helmet camera.

			<description><![CDATA[ <span style="font-weight: bold;">Mounting patterns:</span> In general, a square or rectangular mount pattern with 4 holes in the toe and 4 or more in the heel
are what you should choose to use on a monoski. 3 hole toe mounts or diamond shaped mounting patterns can not handle the strain most riders put on their
monoskis. Mounting plates also have some effect on screw retention and thicker phenolics hold onto these 3 hole and diamond shaped bindings better than
aluminums, glass or other... ]]></description>

			<description><![CDATA[ So who&#39;s been testing the bindings Duret is going to be using on their riser systems?

<p>I&#39;m guessing most Look, Rossi and Dynastar bindings are reasonable. I saw Troys Look demos last year and they felt really solid.</p>

<p>I know Duret and ALuflex have beem using these for a few years now after the Salomon week binding years. Shark has converted to Marker and trhe demos are
ridiculously heavy, so I&#39;m hoping the Look, Rossi&#39;s are ok.</p>

to buy one, what&#39;s a forgiving monoski that is good for breaking newbees into the sport?

now stuck halfway through my skiing season skiing on my old skis. I finally took the monoski back from the shop and am now trying to mount the bindings. Any

Are they really performant both on powder and bumps? There are some clips on Coda&#39;site, but I mean real powder and real bumps. Those are hard pressed
slopes with 10 cm. of fresh snow and some ondulations! :-). I fear for the integrity of the V shaped tail on real deep bumps. In general, is it really possible
