The schedule below is not complete, it will be filled in with hourly meeting information to help you find other monoskiers and all the TBA's will be filled in in the final We'll be doing all the fun events on Friday this year, Saturday will be more of ski together day with like minded/ability skiers. Sierra will make it much easier to hang out together on Friday. *Please bring all borrowed monoskis back to the Monopalooza house #1 before you go out after skiing please!!! (unless we are scheduled for Apres Ski and Dinner on Mountain) Schedules will be handed out in the mornings at each mountain location and at the Monopalooza houses. The schedule located below, will not be the complete schedule but this will have all the morning, lunch and evening meeting times posted. Calling the houses in the mornings is not recommended as people will be hustling to get on the road, call in the eves for information please. Monopalooza House #1 530 544-0843 1927 Venice Dr. S. Posts: 3 (02/16/08 08:30:10) Reply Quote More My Recent Posts Message Me Connection Blocking Invite Ignore User's Posts	The sierra pub is great fun and very local flavored. on weekends it's tough getting out of the parking lot, so it gets busy, people stay late and get blasted. check out the shuttle info if beverage is your choice of vice. http://www.sierraattahoe.com/satAssets/files/plan_buy/0708_bus_schedule.pdf there will probably be no problems with space and chairs on thursday- good choice, and prefferred over sunday, if it works out travel wise i'll post if i can dig any better deals up for tickets, as i have pretty good connects at seirra and kirkwood. do we need any close up parking lot booth space at either for a tent/ booth? kirkwood typically frowns on on-mountain booths without insurance, but will cone out some prime booth space in the parking lot if asked- but they are a bit flaky.... it's called the kirkwood factor!

The only reason to even ski Heavenly on a Saturday is for exposure, it will be extremely crowded, we can't not do the events here. Sierra is also much easier to try out monoskis, trying to swap skis at Heavenly would have been extremely difficult. Are you flying out to hang out at Monopalooza or to ski Heavenly? In the future, we might just call it at resorts day by day, or maybe we'll need to register and charge everybody a fee to cover insurance. You can fly 80 feet in the air in terrain parks and twist around on rock hard half pipes, but you can't do a wheelbarrow race on a flat surface...makes lots of sense no? Who runs risk assessment anyways...it's all about the mighty dollar to big resorts, in 1992 resorts wouldn't even allow jumping...in 2008, they won't allow us to have fun with friends??? Crazy country or what? I have room in my truck for 3, maybe 4 for getting to Sierra...Heavenly on Sunday makes a lot of sense also because it's closer to everything for those that do have to leave on Sunday. Today was the perfect start to our mini-PrePalooza. Now time to close eyes that have been rollin for 38 hours straight. 1-3 feet due tomorrow and I think we are gonna churn it up with Sasha and Dave.
