Directions
Best way to the house:
Coming down from Idaho and points North and NorthWest from here. Driving south on I-15/east on I-84, take exit 344 marked 12th Street Ogden, State Route 39. Turn left (east) towards the mountains.
Coming in I-80 from Wyoming, take I-84 West to I-15 North, take exit 344 marked 12th Street Ogden, State Route 39. Turn right (east) towards the mountains.
Coming in from South/West/SouthEast; once you get to Salt Lake City, take I-15 North; take exit 344 marked 12th Street Ogden, State Route 39. Turn right (east) towards the mountains.
Continue on that street thru Ogden City up to the mouth of Ogden Canyon and start up the canyon. It's a narrow winding road, so take your time. (Note just into the canyon, on the left is a manmade waterfall which creates a ice waterfall; best viewed coming back down the canyon or by pulling over.) If you're hungry for something other than Mex, stop at the Oak's Restaurant, about 2/3 of the way up the canyon for a bite. At the top of the canyon, turn left across the dam. Continue on that road. Pass SkiVinci's pad (Snowberry Inn) on your left. When you see the stop sign, hit the brakes and turn left into the parking lot for the Diamond Peak Ski Shop and Carlos and Harley's Mex restaurant. If you miss the turn, pull into the Maverick on your left at the stop sign, fill up with gas, turn around and head back. Going on to the house, continue straight through the stop sign for 2.5 miles, turn left on 4300 North then left onto Eagle Ridge Drive. House on right, #4882.
