I once again had a great time. Sorry to cut out early but they weren't lying about the Tahoe forecast. It's Tuesday night and apart from a brief 1 hour period of sunshine this afternoon the snow continues.
Cheers

I got back to Edmonton yesterday at noon.
Thank you again for Monopalooza 2009. My nose and face still feels Friday's sun kiss. For the boys that made the Lake Tahoe trip after, good on ya. I had a snorkle with me but all for not. Until next time! |

This is a shot that was taken by Henry Hungerland on Saturday at PowMow... and no, it wasn't a fall As always, thanks to all who made the pilgrimage this year. I know this is a happening that we all look forward to, and now I am looking forward to the Event next year, which I am sure you are too. Also, thanks to all who were supportive of CODA. It is exciting and frightening to try to keep a small business running that is a niche market in a niche market, and even more so in these economic times. But as long as CODA can keep in business, I will keep making boards and continue to support Monopalooza. -Chad

WOW Chad, great edge hold! Oh, he's on a Coda board? Can't he get over any farther?
I also had a wonderful time, as did daughter Janelle. This turned out to be an expensive Monopalooza, as we each came home with a new monoski! No complaints except the snow conditions at Snowbasin left a lot to be desired. Was just so great to see everyone again, as well as the newcomers. Can't wait until next year!!

Another wonderful trip. I'm glad everyone else had as much fun as myself. I always look forward to seeing this crowd. I only get a few days a year to
see almost all of these great people!
I hope we have as successful a Monopalooza next year, and many years to come! |

Greetings everyone;can anyone tell me if there is a lost and found? Dana lost a brown "smart wool"
sock at the Mono-Pad and we were wondering if someone saw it or turned it in? Can anyone help me reunite my wife with her favorite sock? Or at least the
other of her favoritte pair? Picture below.

Thank you all!!!
Is it 2010 already???? Got the last day of Monop yesterday at Solitude with Steph (sorry, she's one of those that for some reason rides a board the wrong way, sideways, will work on this subject), Sacha, Andy and Dave. We've got a blast drinking, I mean ripping the real Utah Powder, about time. Can't wait to see you all again next year. THANKS A LOT FOR A GREAT TIME. Gus |

We had a great time. Good to see folks we know, and meet folks we don't.

Great time all! | ||

Thanks to everyone for making it another great MonoP! Another year of ice skiing, beer belly expanding, mornings that require walls to stay upright, and
breaking stuff! It was great making the stellar turns at PowMow with everyone.
Andy- I managed one(1) run on the remounted Tyrolias/Duret Mountain until I ripped the two front screws out of the Left Heel. the clincher is the one hole I stripped earlier was the one that held! Those wood plugs work! The dogs bollocks is that the left heel is destroyed and while trying to get down the rest of the way in 10"+ snow I ripped the f'in right heel out too. I think I got a bunk pair of bindings! Time for more wood plugs and a new set of bindings. Keep the faith alive all ---- Rip the Pow til you break something! Chain |

Excellent MonoP this year. Even though the lack of snow was a bummer, the camaraderie is second to none. Great party house as well. But damn it's expensive
to party in Utah!!!
Sounds like Boomer made the right call to head to Tahoe. However, since MonoP, Stevens picked up 68 fluffy inches (twenty of it yesterday...epic). Even snowed in Seattle today!! So a big round of Thanks to Boomer and Jason for cooking up some righteous prime rib and Thanks for those who cleaned up the mess! Thanks to Hoss for bringing the Kegs, we needed backup! And Thanks to all the official and unofficial sponsors of MonoPalooza. See Ya next year if not sooner. |
