Posts: 3 Apr 1 12 10:27 AM Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	Tags : None Been a skier all my life. Bought a Dynastar Monoski in the late 80's and had a ball with it for about 6 years. For various reasons I haven't spent much time on it for a quite a while. I definitely need to update my bindings and I don't know what I should look for. I am a fairly aggressive skier and really like the bumps. Any advice on binding choice? Thanks David

Can you give more detail like , height , weight and ability , this will give those that know alittle something to go on Andy

Posts: 3 Apr 1 12 4:00 PM Reply Quote More My Recent Posts	No, I'm from Washington State. I'm 5'8", 160 lbs. and I am an advanced level mono skier. I like to play on the bumps, but have a lot of fun just goofing off with the family on the intermediate runs. My old bindings were Salomon 747's with a 4 hole toe mount. Don't want to mess up the ski with the wrong choice. Also want to stick with a release type of binding. Don't know if I need all metal or if a composite would be OK.

They're pretty much bullet-proof. I'd consider having your 747'schecked for release and function at a ski shop and keep them if they are within specs. Or I'd go to furyskis.com and buy a new ski with some sidecut; I suspect yours is a pintail? Man it makes sooooo much of a difference. You're in WA, get with Chain (Pete) and demo one of his.
